People Business Partner

Role overview

As a People Business Partner, you partner with leaders and managers across Europe Engineering, Product & Design, and G&A to support organizational health, talent strategy, and people programs. You’ll be embedded with European teams while collaborating closely with US-based counterparts to help strengthen and align global practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and managers across Europe teams to handle a full range of people situations (e.g., performance, org health, change management)
• Build high-trust relationships and develop deep context across multiple European regions (Ukraine, Germany, Poland)
• Serve as a key bridge between Europe and US stakeholders; bring a global lens to people program design and execution
• Support talent processes including performance management, talent reviews, and calibrations
• Collaborate with the broader People organization (L&D, Compensation, Ops, Recruiting) to deliver programs/projects for your client groups
• Partner with leaders, Finance, and Recruiting on headcount planning and team structure conversations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a People Partner / HR Business Partner
• Experience supporting Engineering, Product, Design, and/or G&A organizations (preferred)
• Ability to build credible, strategic relationships with managers and leaders
• Strong judgment and empathy in navigating employee situations with speed and structure
• Understanding of cultural/employment landscape across key European markets
• Comfortable working across time zones and geographies
• Experience partnering with other People teams and business partners (e.g., Finance and Recruiting)
• Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; can operate proactively with independence

Nice to have

• Experience with compensation review processes or pay equity analysis
• Experience in a compound startup, multi-product environment, or post-acquisition context
