  • Identify and document technical debt (e.g., manual ingestion, poor integrations, high operational overhead, audit readiness gaps).

    • payment eligibility checks
    • proforma QC validation
    • auto-flagging non-compliant records
  • Develop PEGA Integration Services using REST/SOAP to connect with:
    • CTMS, EDC, Workday ERP, MuleSoft middleware, and OBIEE reporting layer
  • Configure RBAC (Role-Based Access Controls) across finance, operations, IT, and vendor management.
  • Implement immutable audit logging and automated retention aligned with SOX, GDPR, HIPAA.
  • Plan and support PEGA platform upgrades (version assessment, compatibility checks, rule migration, regression strategy).
  • Create a data migration plan from legacy iGPS (extraction, transformation, validation, and cutover).
  • Configure dashboards and reporting for real-time payment status, KPI tracking, and audit-ready outputs.

Required Experience & Profile

  • PEGA Certified System Architect (CSA) (mandatory)
  • PEGA Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) (strongly preferred)
  • 7–12 years total IT experience with 5+ years in PEGA platform development and architecture.
  • Hands-on expertise in PEGA BPM, Case Management, Decisioning, Integration Services (REST/SOAP), and UI/UX configuration.
  • Experience assessing/modernizing/upgrading legacy PEGA systems in complex enterprise environments.
  • Domain experience in life sciences / CRO / pharma / clinical trial operations, especially financial operations and investigator/site grant payments (highly desirable).

Nice-to-Haves / Additional Background

  • Certifications in MuleSoft, Workday integrations, or Salesforce.
  • Experience integrating PEGA with ERP systems (Workday preferred), CTMS, EDC, and middleware (MuleSoft).
  • Experience with multi-currency, multi-country global payment platforms and regulatory compliance (SOX/GDPR/HIPAA).
  • Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Cloudbyz) for comparison/dual-path evaluation.
  • Cloud exposure (AWS or Azure preferred).

Location / Work Style

  • Remote / Hybrid (as applicable)
  • Listed location: United States
