Payroll Analyst (Global Payroll)

Role Overview

Join Chainguard as a Payroll Analyst (Global Payroll) to support global payroll operations. This hands-on role emphasizes payroll accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement across multiple countries.

Key Missions

• Own payroll accuracy & analytics: perform pre-payroll audits and analyze payroll data.
• Partner with Accounting/Finance & cross-functional teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and resolve discrepancies.
• Improve payroll workflows and reporting: identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes, reporting, and automation, and collaborate with Finance and HRIS teams to strengthen integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of payroll experience (ideally in a high-growth or global environment).
• Strong data attention to detail and ability to manage data across multiple systems.
• Comfort preparing payroll imports / EIB uploads.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll.
• Strong analytical skills: auditing payroll data and identifying discrepancies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, People/HR, and cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll vendors (e.g., Deel, Remote).
• Familiarity with OneSource Virtual (OSV).
• Experience supporting U.S. payroll operations and exposure to international payroll.

• Full remote, with a New York, US location noted.
