Payments Product Manager (Payments Infrastructure)

As a Payments Product Manager at CardFlight, you will be the payments domain expert responsible for the strategy, requirements, and roadmap for the company’s payments infrastructure.

Key missions

• Serve as the payments expert, providing strategic guidance on processor integrations and certification processes.
• Manage processor integration and certification end-to-end, including negotiating scope and requirements with certification analysts.
• Maintain and execute a roadmap that balances:
  • active certifications,
  • new processor integrations,
  • compliance obligations,
  • and ongoing platform improvements.

Requirements / Profile

• Comfort working with product analytics tools and using data to support product decisions.
• Strong collaboration skills to align engineering, operations, and external partners on complex technical work.
• Deep understanding of processor certification processes, including “Level 3” card-present certifications, plus hands-on experience managing certifications with major processors and card brands.
• Proven experience managing relationships with processors and card brands, with the professionalism to represent a smaller organization in high-stakes technical discussions.
• Ability to handle the project-management overhead of payments certifications (timelines, external partners, coordination across teams) while keeping a product perspective.
• Strong prioritization across evolving payments obligations (certifications, compliance mandates, processor integrations, product requests) and clear communication of priorities.
• Payments product management experience: at least 3 years, preferably 5–10+ years.
• Experience translating raw processor integration specs and card brand rules into clear engineering requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines with external partners.
• Familiarity with standards such as PCI DSS and EMVCo kernel lifecycles.
