About the role
Role Overview
The Payments Compliance Analyst ensures accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payments and related financial activities. The role focuses on evaluating fraud concerns, collecting documentation to clear false positive exceptions, and mitigating risk while working closely with transaction details and bank contacts.
Responsibilities
- Contact security holders via email and phone to resolve user/account validation flags
- Review and evaluate exception materials related to validation issues and fraud concerns
- Prepare and send reports to bank partners for security holders who split payments while completing Clearinghouse processes
- Complete daily bank reconciliation and identify remedies for exception items
- Prepare monthly internal account reconciliation reports and complete fee sweeping for wire and check fees charged in the prior month
- Serve as the point of contact between internal/external customers and banking partners for delayed incoming/outgoing funds questions
Location & Work Model
- Hybrid (Denver, CO): If within a 20-mile radius of downtown Denver office
- From Sep 8, 2026: expected 1 day/week in office
- From Jan 1, 2027: expected 2 days/week in office
- Fully Remote (within Continental US): If outside the 20-mile radius
- Onsite visits to Denver HQ required on average 3 times/year
Compensation
- $65,000–$75,000 salary range depending on experience
