About the role

Role Overview

The Payments Compliance Analyst will execute and optimize Dutchie’s compliance operations, with an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Merchant Underwriting: Perform due diligence and look for opportunities to automate and accelerate onboarding.
  • Annual Merchant Reviews: Conduct annual compliance reviews and manage merchant outreach; iterate on tracking and communication to reduce manual effort.
  • Administrative Modifications: Process bank account changes.
  • BSA/AML Case Disposition: Investigate and analyze BSA/AML alerts.
  • Customer Outreach: Maintain professional communications to resolve compliance issues.
  • Process Automation & Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and repetitive tasks; leverage AI and workflow tools to scale operations.

Requirements

  • Inquisitive mindset with strong drive to analyze, streamline, and automate processes.
  • Tech-forward orientation; comfortable experimenting with AI tools, workflow tools, and new software.
  • High attention to detail; able to spot patterns and edge cases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and iterate on solutions.
  • Excels at repetitive, meticulous work.

What’s Offered

  • Salary: $64,000–$86,000 (based on intended level)
