About the role

Role overview

Partner Solutions Architect (EMEA) is a Datadog expert aligned with the Channels & Alliances business segment. You will support technical initiatives with partners (e.g., cloud migration, application modernization, DevOps transformation), taking accountability for initiative outcomes and partnering closely with both Datadog and partner resources.

Responsibilities

Support onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources
Participate in joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and partner technical teams
Collaborate internally on partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demos and proofs of value
Run/participate in partner enablement workshops and provide assessment, advice, and coaching on best practices
Advocate on behalf of partners’ technical concerns (use cases, feature requests, support issues) with internal Datadog teams to drive resolution
Regularly analyze partner service offerings and recommend ways to improve value through better/greater adoption of Datadog features
Partner with product management, engineering, and technical services to help identify and prioritize new features/capabilities
Curate and evolve lead/best practices for Datadog platform adoption and partner success

Requirements

Solid hands-on technical grounding in IT Development and/or Operations
Demonstrated track record and strong learning mindset
Self-starter with business acumen; able to communicate Datadog value from technical to executive audiences
Confident presentation skills
Must be a current EU resident

Hands-on experience (2+ of the following)

Observability: Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace
Public cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry
Dev/Scripting: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go
Config Management: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab

Bonus points

Experience in a technical role supporting channel partners (e.g., Systems Integrators, Managed Services Providers)
Experience using Datadog and/or other monitoring tools (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, NPM)
Experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging
