About the role

Role overview

Join Ping Identity as a Partner Sales Engineer (France). You will work with partners and customers to demonstrate the value of Ping Identity’s identity solutions, support technical sales relationships, and help drive sales and business development outcomes.

Responsibilities

Conduct customer-oriented meetings, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept (PoCs) to communicate business and technical value.
Collaborate with partner teams to provide enablement, support technical sales motions, and achieve customer wins.
Identify gaps in partner enablement, create and execute plans to close them, and deliver pre-sales technical guidance to partners.
Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, customized demos, and PoCs for both business and technical audiences.
Provide pre-sales support by relating technical solution capabilities back to customer needs.

Requirements

3+ years in customer-facing professional services or pre-sales.
Strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including experience with enterprise environments.
Ability to build and nurture relationships with System Integrators and Ping Identity partner teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; French proficiency is a must-have (plus English).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Practical familiarity with IAM technologies and deployments; able to install/configure IAM solutions (e.g., Ping Identity, ForgeRock, CA, Oracle, IBM, Novell/NetIQ/Micro Focus, or similar).
Knowledge of IAM protocols and formats such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, JSON/XML, and related standards.
Comfort with networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/S, routing, load balancers, proxies).
Competency with scripting and web technologies such as JavaScript, RESTful Web Services, and frameworks like Node.js and Vue.js.
Ability to build demo assets using APIs, web/mobile development, and platform configuration.

Nice to have

Spanish proficiency.

Additional expectations

Ability to work with high self-direction and/or collaboratively with teams across Ping Identity.
Working knowledge of IAM concepts such as Authentication/Authorization, Federation, SSO, User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning, Governance, and Workflow.
