About the role
Role overview
Manager in Technology Analysis within EY’s Oracle Services practice, supporting Oracle Cloud Finance implementations. You’ll work with business stakeholders to evaluate processes and requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and help design system architecture solutions.
This role is remote-based with regular travel to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead workstream delivery for complex technical initiatives; manage processes and solutions end-to-end
- Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives
- Participate in client working sessions; lead workstreams from planning through execution and closure
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions
- Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to confirm they meet business requirements
- Manage engagement economics and resource planning
- Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to RFP responses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in ERP systems in a software configuration implementation role, or finance/accounting experience as an Oracle Financials super user
- Proven implementation or super-user experience for 3+ Oracle Financial Applications from the list below:
- General Ledger, Payables, Payments, Expenses
- Receivables, Collections, Revenue Management, Taxes
- Fixed Assets, Cash Management
- Projects Costing and/or Billing, Accounting Hub
- Treasury
Nice to have / skills & attributes
- Experience leading teams and managing change
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Functional understanding of system development lifecycle and technology business architecture frameworks
- Decision-making and judgment in selecting methods and criteria to achieve results
- Ability to interface with finance and technology senior/middle management and end users
- Self-starter mindset with continuous learning
