OpenShift Engineer

Role Overview

You will be an OpenShift Engineer on an Agile team building healthcare applications and implementing new features while following best coding and development standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kubernetes-based environments.
• Work with Azure Red Hat OpenShift / OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Apply Azure cloud expertise (networking, resource management, monitoring).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps practices.
• Use Helm and Kustomize for Kubernetes application packaging/configuration.
• Deploy and manage with Argo CD and GitLab.
• Develop automation and tooling using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Support service mesh tooling such as Istio.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience.
• 5+ years managing Kubernetes-based environments.
• 3+ years with Azure Red Hat OpenShift or OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Azure experience across networking, resource management, and monitoring.
• CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps experience.
• Required: Helm, Kustomize, Argo CD, GitLab.
• Scripting: Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Istio.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and networking.
• Monitoring tools experience: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana (or similar).
