About the role
Role Overview
You will be an OpenShift Engineer on an Agile team building healthcare applications and implementing new features while following best coding and development standards.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based environments.
- Work with Azure Red Hat OpenShift / OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Apply Azure cloud expertise (networking, resource management, monitoring).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps practices.
- Use Helm and Kustomize for Kubernetes application packaging/configuration.
- Deploy and manage with Argo CD and GitLab.
- Develop automation and tooling using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Support service mesh tooling such as Istio.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- 5+ years managing Kubernetes-based environments.
- 3+ years with Azure Red Hat OpenShift or OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Azure experience across networking, resource management, and monitoring.
- CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps experience.
- Required: Helm, Kustomize, Argo CD, GitLab.
- Scripting: Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Istio.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and networking.
- Monitoring tools experience: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana (or similar).
