Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant — Logistics & Inventory Lead (Freelance)

Role Overview

Freelance Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant — Logistics & Inventory Lead for full-remote work. You will configure and optimize Odoo modules, design logistics and inventory workflows, audit the current setup, and advise on Odoo best practices—while also training internal users and documenting processes.

Key Missions

• Configure and evolve Odoo modules, mainly Inventory and Purchases, optimizing logistics and inventory flows
• Train internal users via live sessions and clear written documentation
• Document configurations and operational processes
• Audit the current Odoo setup, identify operational friction points, and propose concrete prioritized improvements

Requirements (Must-Haves)

• 5+ years experience as an Odoo Consultant, including recent versions (Odoo v18/v19)
• Strong expertise in Inventory and Purchases modules
• Proven experience with Odoo.sh workflows, including staging/production and Git-based deployments
• Fluent French and professional English
• Ability to support/training end users (not only system configuration)
• Strong autonomy and ownership: lead projects end-to-end, prioritize effectively, and challenge requests when relevant

Nice-to-Haves

• Technical Odoo skills: Python, XML, custom module development, APIs/Webhooks, and OWL front-end experience
• Experience with multi-company environments
• Experience with Manufacturing / MRP
• Knowledge of retail / e-commerce / B2B logistics operations
• Experience supporting SMEs during scaling or structuring phases
• Familiarity with integration middleware such as n8n (or equivalent)
