Node.js Developer (Serverless | Contact Center)

Build and support serverless applications for an AWS-based contact center platform, focusing on AWS Lambda functions that power IVR and self-service customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications running on AWS Lambda
• Build and enhance IVR and self-service workflows with Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex
• Develop integrations between contact center platforms and enterprise systems (APIs, databases, CRM, third-party services)
• Create reusable Lambda services for authentication, routing, customer identification, case management, and transactions
• Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures using AWS services
• Implement secure coding practices (encryption, authentication/authorization, data protection)
• Support CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation using GitHub and AWS DevOps services
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with solution architects, contact center engineers, QA, and business stakeholders
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests for serverless applications
• Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks

Requirements

• 3+ years of Node.js development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on AWS development experience
• Experience developing and deploying AWS Lambda functions
• Experience with Amazon Connect and/or Amazon Lex
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including:
  • API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge
• Experience with Git and GitHub for source control and CI/CD
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
• Understanding of secure software development and cloud security principles
