NodeJS Developer - UI

Role overview

You will design and develop user interfaces with strong user experience focus, translating wireframes and design concepts into functional, responsive, cross-browser web applications. The role blends frontend development with UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing, intuitive, and accessible interfaces across devices and browsers.
• Convert wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts into web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions.
• Run usability testing sessions, collect feedback, and analyze results to refine designs.
• Create interactive prototypes, animations, transitions, and micro-interactions.
• Maintain design language consistency and follow branding guidelines.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve implementation quality.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js with a strong understanding of frontend development and UX principles.
• Experience building responsive, cross-browser UI for multiple devices/platforms.
• Familiarity with design tools: Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma (or similar) for wireframes/prototypes.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Understanding of user-centered design and usability testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Git for version control.

Nice to haves

• Additional UI prototyping and interaction design experience (animations, micro-interactions) beyond basic implementation.
