About the role
Role Overview
Enhance the functionality, scalability, and user experience of a multi-asset trading platform. You will design, implement, and optimize an event-driven microservices architecture to support new trading applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver software solutions end-to-end in collaboration with product managers and designers.
- Coordinate with international development teams on engineering and architecture.
- Partner with QA and DevOps teams to ensure product quality.
- Develop and optimize core components of the trading platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a field covering Computer Science fundamentals.
- 2–4 years of professional web application development experience.
- Strong backend skills; Node.js and TypeScript are a plus.
- Broad knowledge of web platforms and related technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication for international, cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with automated unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
- Understanding of performance issues, computational complexity, and code optimization.
- Familiarity with standard algorithms and software design patterns.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Agentic AI tooling.
- Experience with distributed systems and infrastructure technologies: Kafka, Elastic, Redis, Kubernetes, MongoDB.
- Prior experience with infrastructure-as-code.
