About the role
Role overview
You will enhance a trading platform by building event-driven microservices that improve functionality, scalability, and user experience for new trading applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end software solutions in collaboration with product managers and designers
- Coordinate with international development teams on engineering and system architecture
- Partner with QA and DevOps teams to ensure quality
- Develop and optimize the trading platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with Computer Science fundamentals
- 2–4 years of professional web application development
- Backend proficiency; Node.js and TypeScript knowledge is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication for international teams
- Experience with automated unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
- Understanding of performance issues, computational complexity, and code optimization
- Familiarity with industry-standard algorithms and design patterns
- Ability to perform in high-pressure environments
Preferred
- Familiarity with Agentic AI tooling
- Experience with distributed systems and infrastructure technologies: Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kubernetes, MongoDB
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code
