NodeJS Developer

Role Overview

Backend Developer to build and maintain robust backend services supporting web applications and enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy backend services using Node.js and Python.
• Build and maintain web services and middleware to connect front-end and back-end systems.
• Implement security measures including encryption, authentication, and authorization.
• Design and develop serverless architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Manage and optimize NoSQL databases (notably DynamoDB) for high availability and performance.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to improve efficiency and system performance.
• Implement webhooks and cron-like operations using event/automation services (e.g., EventBridge).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, project management, and security).
• Stay current with backend development and cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven backend development experience with Node.js and Python.
• Strong knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and middleware development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially serverless.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, especially DynamoDB or similar.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with security protocols plus encryption and encoding/decoding.
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity/understanding of FHIR R4 standards.
