Node.js Developer _Remote_ W2 & Need only U.S. citizens

Role

Node.js Developer (Remote) for a W2 contract engagement. US citizenship and an active or open security clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Build serverless REST APIs and AWS Lambda microservices
• Design and develop services using event-driven and distributed systems patterns
• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud applications
• Apply best practices for logging, validation, error handling, and API performance in AWS
• Use DevOps workflows and CI/CD practices to deliver services reliably

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Working knowledge of AWS Lambda and core AWS services, including:
  • API Gateway
  • DynamoDB
  • RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL
  • S3, SNS, SQS
  • CloudWatch (logs, metrics)
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL data modeling
• Experience with asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., AWS CDK or CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions
• Unit/integration testing experience
• Communication and collaboration in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments

Nice to Have

• Nest.js knowledge
• Experience in FedRAMP or other high-compliance environments
