Node JS Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. NodeJS Developer for a 6+ months contract position that is 100% remote. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting our applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js backend services and APIs
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging for high-quality deliverables
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new technologies as appropriate
• Assist in documenting technical specifications and user guides

Requirements

• Proven professional experience with Node.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and team collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience with RESTful API development
• Experience with microservices architecture
