Node JS Developer

Role Overview

Join AgileGrid Solutions (The Dignify Solutions LLC) as a Node.js Developer. You’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications that power core business operations, with a focus on APIs and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Node.js and related technologies
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and real-time applications
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of backend services
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews
• Apply security best practices and troubleshoot/resolve technical issues
• Maintain documentation for development activities
• Stay up to date with emerging backend trends and improve systems/processes

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks
• 8+ years overall IT development or testing experience
• Strong JavaScript/Node.js expertise; Java or JavaScript programming for 5+ years
• Demonstrated understanding of:
  • Object-oriented design patterns
  • Microservices architecture
  • Event-driven design
  • Security principles including OWASP and OAuth2

Nice to Have

• Integration experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Mulesoft
• Web/service technologies: HTML, XML, ASP, SQL, Java, Python, SOAP, REST
• CI/DevOps tools: Git, Atlassian Bitbucket Pipelines, Docker
