Role Overview

Sophilabs is seeking a Software Developer (Node Developer) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for client needs. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build scalable, efficient applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software applications aligned with project requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner
• Improve performance and scalability via optimization and refactoring
• Stay current with industry trends and apply new technologies
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle (planning/design → deployment/maintenance)
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to meet milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven software development experience; proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
• Familiarity with modern frameworks/tools such as React, Angular, Node.js (preferred)
• Strong understanding of database management systems, RESTful APIs, and Git/version control
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure
