About the role
Role overview
Tulip Interfaces is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (full remote) to take ownership of deployment, health, and continuous improvement of its multi-cloud, multi-region SaaS infrastructure.
Key missions
- Own deployment and production environment health across multi-cloud and multi-region setups.
- Design and evolve cloud architecture to ensure availability, stability, and performance.
- Continuously improve CI/CD infrastructure with the goal of an entirely automated delivery cycle.
- Build automation tooling to increase developer velocity.
- Define and maintain observability standards, proactively detect performance degradation.
- Partner closely with application engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years hands-on DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of production cloud environments at scale.
- Experience managing enterprise-grade data persistence layers, including:
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Key/value stores
- Messaging systems (e.g., AMQP, MQTT)
- Strong familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Mimir, Thanos, Grafana) and solid SRE practices for a fast-growing SaaS.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Exposure to infrastructure-focused programming/scripting languages (e.g., Go, TypeScript, Python, Bash).
Nice-to-haves / highly relevant
- Proficiency with modern cloud infrastructure tooling, especially Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and major cloud providers (AWS and/or Azure).
