About the role

Role Overview

Optomi, in partnership with a leading automotive financial services organization, is seeking 2–3 NICE Developers for a long-term contract. The role is fully remote, working EST/CST hours, supporting a major contact center transformation as the organization migrates from Cisco-based systems to NICE.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement solutions using NICE CXone and/or NICE inContact
Build and maintain IVR call flows and routing logic
Integrate NICE with backend systems via APIs and backend integrations (REST/SOAP)
Support migration efforts from Cisco contact center platforms to NICE
Troubleshoot and optimize performance across contact center workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., infrastructure, product, business stakeholders) to deliver scalable solutions
Contribute to best practices and standards for NICE development

Requirements (Must Have)

Hands-on development experience within NICE platforms (NICE CXone / NICE inContact preferred)
Strong background in contact center technologies and call flow development
Experience with IVR design, scripting, and integrations
Proficiency in APIs and backend integrations (REST/SOAP)
Experience in enterprise environments and large-scale systems
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within NICE environments

Nice to Have

Experience migrating Cisco → NICE
Familiarity with scripting languages used in NICE environments
Experience with workforce optimization (WFO) tools within NICE
Background in financial services or enterprise-scale environments
Located near Dearborn/Detroit Metro, MI (helpful for team alignment)

Work Model

Fully remote, EST/CST preferred
