About the role

Role Overview

New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Owner (US Remote) on the Global IT team at Motorola Solutions. You will help plan, design, and drive development of new NPI projects by partnering with business, IT, CX, and development teams—translating cross-business needs into actionable product and IT requirements.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leads and IT peers to understand demand and offers; drive dialogue to streamline offers within guardrails
Translate business partner requirements into IT requirements for development teams
Collaborate with the CX team to build the simplest customer experiences for NPIs
Enable cross-sell offers, including across recent mergers and acquisitions
Own the product roadmap, including market and competitive analysis
Participate in product/feature pipeline “scrubs” and drive prioritization with product partners
Turn rapidly changing business needs into functional requirements; propose alternative implementation options
Define and enable managed delivery metrics and reporting; implement engagement review and QA procedures tied to goals and business satisfaction
Maintain a clear, compelling product vision and maximize product value by monitoring adoption
Maintain and continuously prioritize the product backlog

Requirements

Proven track record in product ownership/IT product delivery within the New Product Introduction (NPI) domain
Strong ability to design, troubleshoot, and problem-solve across business and IT challenges
Ability to work closely with developers and cross-functional IT subject matter experts
Strong execution skills: prioritize effectively, meet commitments, and complete tasks on time and within budget
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment across diverse audiences (developers to executive leadership)
