Network Engineer Factory Systems and Operational Technology

Role Overview

Anduril Industries is hiring a Network Engineer for factory systems and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure. You will design, deploy, and maintain network systems supporting Anduril’s manufacturing environments, working in production spaces and partnering with Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Security, and IT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site walks and site surveys to assess network needs, validate capacity, and plan installations in manufacturing areas
• Design and implement secure, segmented network architectures for factory/OT systems aligned with ISA-95 and the Purdue Model
• Install, configure, and support networking hardware, including:
  • routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure
  • industrial networking devices
• Support manufacturing buildouts (new production lines, machine onboarding, integration of control systems)
• Perform hands-on work such as:
  • cabling validation, equipment racking, hardware placement
  • physical-layer troubleshooting
• Manage network equipment inventory across facilities (tracking, forecasting, ordering)
• Handle procurement activities for networking components and coordinate with vendors/suppliers/subcontractors
• Maintain accurate documentation for:
  • network topology, cabling
  • VLAN and IP assignments
  • inter-zone communication flows
• Implement and manage network security controls, including segmentation, ACLs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention
• Monitor network performance and perform proactive maintenance to ensure reliability
