About the role

Role Overview

National OEM Account Manager for OEM accounts in the Water Infrastructure market (remote to the team). You will drive sales and build strong relationships with OEM customers—especially water meter and AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) manufacturers—to grow revenue and increase Hubbell’s specification and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand top-level and field relationships with OEM partners to build a project pipeline and identify market opportunities.
  • Provide guidance, motivation, data, and training to the water infrastructure sales team to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Develop sales strategies, objectives, and initiatives to grow revenue and improve market penetration.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics, generate reports, and assess team/individual performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key end users, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with marketing, product development, and other teams to align strategy and improve sales processes.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecast projections, and manage expenses to optimize profitability.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify opportunities/threats.
  • Travel nationwide to support OEM accounts and Territory Managers and attend trade shows as needed. (Minimum expected travel: 60%.)

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of relevant sales experience (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/management/marketing or related field (preferred).
  • Water utility experience highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Analytical ability to interpret sales performance and market data trends.
  • Self-motivated and accountable; able to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams at different levels.
  • Strong time management/organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations.

Nice-to-Have / Preferences

  • Ideally based near a major airport/airline hub.

Travel / Location

  • Remote role (United States).
  • Nationwide travel: minimum 60%.
