Role Overview

National Account Manager – C-Store West for Bel Brands USA Foodservice.

This remote role drives sales growth, manages key customer relationships, and executes commercial strategies across the C-store channel in the western U.S. Candidates must reside in the western region (west of the Mississippi River).

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day management of assigned C-store accounts to deliver net sales, distribution, and profitability targets
  • Develop and execute customer-specific business plans aligned to broader channel strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and broker partners to grow the business
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution, improve assortment, and enhance in-store execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Category Leadership, and Supply Chain to ensure execution of customer and channel plans
  • Analyze sales performance, customer data, and market trends; recommend risks/opportunities and action plans
  • Support route-to-market execution (warehouse, distributor, direct models)
  • Collaborate with broker partners to ensure clear priorities, accountability, and program execution
  • Lead customer presentations (e.g., line reviews, new item sell-ins, promotional planning)
  • Manage trade spend and promotional investments to meet financial targets
  • Monitor competitive activity and provide insights for business decisions
  • Support innovation commercialization and new item launches/customer adoption
  • Provide regular business updates and KPI reporting to sales leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of food sales or CPG experience, preferably in C-store or convenience
  • Experience working with brokers, distributors, and key national/regional accounts
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to execute sales strategies and deliver objectives
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales and market data
  • Working knowledge of route-to-market models and distributor networks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong organization and attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with strong customer-facing presentation skills
