Multi-Cloud Architect

Role Overview

Multi-Cloud Architect (100% remote, Continental United States) Bright Vision Technologies is hiring an in-house Multi-Cloud Architect to design multi-cloud strategies, reference architectures, and platform capabilities across AWS, Azure, GCP, and selectively OCI for enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-cloud strategy, target-state architecture, and adoption guardrails across AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI.
• Design federated identity, SSO, and cross-cloud authorization patterns that enable workloads/engineers to move between providers while maintaining least-privilege, auditability, and operational simplicity.
• Architect cross-cloud networking (transit hubs, private connectivity, zero-trust patterns).
• Create reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns to abstract cloud-specific implementations where appropriate.
• Define container, Kubernetes, and serverless strategies that are consistent across providers.
• Drive data architecture strategies for cross-cloud movement, data residency, and analytics.
• Lead multi-cloud observability, security monitoring, and unified policy enforcement approaches that avoid fragmented per-cloud tooling complexity.
• Establish FinOps practices that work consistently across multiple cloud providers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a multi-cloud architect delivering production capabilities.
• Strong experience designing meaningful multi-cloud capabilities and understanding trade-offs between portability and cloud-native depth.
• Demonstrated hands-on capability (a technical coding assessment is mandatory).

• Experience with enterprise environments operating across multiple clouds by choice.

Employment Details

• Full-time, direct W2 with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C/1099/third-party arrangements).
• Long-term, multi-year engagement aligned to the Bright Vision SOW delivery roadmap.
