About the role

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Multi-Cloud Architect for a 100% remote (Continental United States) full-time W2 position. The role will design and drive multi-cloud strategies and reference architectures spanning AWS, Azure, GCP, and selectively OCI, enabling enterprise teams to operate across multiple clouds with portability and reduced platform complexity.

Responsibilities

Define multi-cloud strategy, target-state architecture, and adoption guardrails across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI (as relevant)
Design federated identity, SSO, and cross-cloud authorization patterns with least-privilege, auditability, and operational simplicity
Architect cross-cloud networking (transit hubs, private connectivity) and zero-trust patterns
Create reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns to abstract cloud-specific implementations where appropriate
Define consistent container, Kubernetes, and serverless strategies across providers
Develop data architecture strategies for cross-cloud movement, data residency, and analytics
Lead multi-cloud observability and security monitoring with unified policy enforcement across clouds
Establish FinOps practices operating consistently across multiple cloud providers
Lead disaster recovery approaches for cross-cloud resilience

Requirements

8+ years of experience
Proven experience architecting meaningful multi-cloud capabilities in production environments
Strong understanding of trade-offs between portability and cloud-native depth
Ability to develop strong, production-grounded architectural opinions

Nice-to-Haves

Experience operating multi-cloud platform offerings that hide cloud-specific complexity from product teams
Deep knowledge of federation, cross-cloud networking, and policy/observability unification

Additional Notes

Technical coding assessment is mandatory
No new H1B sponsorship; H1B transfers are welcome for qualified candidates
Role is direct W2 employment (no C2C/1099/third-party arrangements)
