Multi-Cloud Architect

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Multi-Cloud Architect for a 100% remote (Continental United States), full-time W2 position. You will design multi-cloud strategies and reference architectures spanning AWS, Azure, GCP, and selectively OCI, helping enterprise teams operate across multiple providers with portability and simplified operations.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-cloud strategy, target-state architecture, and adoption guardrails across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI (as relevant)
• Design federated identity, SSO, and cross-cloud authorization patterns that preserve least privilege and auditability
• Architect cross-cloud networking (transit hubs, private connectivity) and zero-trust patterns
• Create reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns to abstract cloud-specific implementations where appropriate
• Define container, Kubernetes, and serverless strategies that work consistently across providers
• Develop data architecture strategies for cross-cloud movement, residency, and analytics
• Lead multi-cloud observability and security monitoring, including unified policy enforcement across providers
• Establish FinOps practices consistent across multiple cloud providers
• Lead disaster recovery approaches for multi-cloud environments

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a cloud/enterprise architect with meaningful multi-cloud architecture exposure
• Proven ability to design multi-cloud capabilities and understand trade-offs between portability and cloud-native depth
• Strong production experience with architectural decision-making and best-practice guardrails

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience designing abstraction layers that hide cloud-specific complexity from product teams
