About the role

Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation’s coding team as a Mobile Software Engineer contributing to the development of AI systems. The work is fully remote and paid on an hourly basis, with flexibility to choose projects and your schedule.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development.
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
Proficiency in at least one: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
Preferred: Kotlin experience.

Nice to Have

Prior experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer / Coder.

Logistics & Pay

Fully remote: work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
Assessment required after signup; passing unlocks paid work.
Pay is hourly via PayPal, starting at $50–75+/hr (higher-paying projects possible with strong performance).
