About the role

Role Overview

As a Mobile Software Engineer at DataAnnotation, you’ll help develop and improve AI systems by completing programming tasks and evaluating AI-generated code. The role is fully remote and project-based, with flexibility to choose which work you take on and your schedule.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and provide detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Prior experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer / Coder (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Compensation & Work Details

Paid hourly per project: $50–$75+ per hour
Higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance
Work is available via the platform; payment is processed through PayPal

Remote / Eligibility

Fully remote for people located in: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand
Other locations won’t have access to work or assessments
