About the role

Mobile Software Engineer (AI coding tasks)

Join DataAnnotation’s coding team to help develop and improve AI systems through real programming work. This role emphasizes Android development and includes writing explanations and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and provide detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: previous experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Coder / Programmer

Preferred Qualifications

Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

What to Expect

Compensation & Logistics

Fully remote with a flexible schedule (choose projects and timing)
Paid hourly, up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance)
