Mobile Software Engineer

Role Overview

You’ll join DataAnnotation’s coding team to help develop and improve AI systems. Work is fully remote with flexible scheduling, and you can choose projects that match your availability.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with a focus on Android development.
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
• Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
• Programming proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.

Nice-to-Haves

• Preferred experience with Kotlin.
• Prior experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer / Coder.

Logistics & Compensation

• Fully remote (work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand).
• Flexible schedule (select projects and when you work).
• Paid hourly, up to $60 USD/hour; higher-paying projects may be available based on performance.
