About the role

Role overview

As a Mobile Software Engineer at DataAnnotation, you’ll help develop and improve AI systems by completing programming tasks and evaluating AI-generated code. The work is fully remote, with flexibility to choose which projects you take on and when you work.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape future AI model behavior

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Excellent writing and grammar skills

Preferred qualifications

Experience with Kotlin (preferred)
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Prior experience as a Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer

Work model & pay

Fully remote: available to people in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
Flexible schedule: choose projects and working times
Paid hourly (up to $60 USD/hour), with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
