About the role

Role Overview

Mobile Full Stack Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cross-platform mobile features and backend services. You will work with digital solution engineers, product teams, and end users to solve challenging, real-world problems across HR, operations, maintenance, and health & safety use cases.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter (Dart) for iOS and Android
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI
Create responsive UI experiences for varied audiences (e.g., field technicians on phones, customers on tablets)
Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate complex requirements into solutions
Optimize mobile app and backend reliability, security, and performance
Refactor legacy code for readability, reusability, and reliability
Keep up with emerging technologies, best practices, and new libraries/packages
Troubleshoot, debug, and improve performance across the stack
Participate in Agile practices (sprint planning, stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives)
Support CI/CD and deployment workflows via strong version control practices

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in Flutter (Dart) and Python
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Understanding of authentication/authorization strategies
Knowledge of Flutter architecture and state management, especially BLoC
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL / MySQL)
Familiarity with cloud services, especially Azure and/or GCP
Experience with IDEs such as VS Code and PyCharm
Experience with mobile IDEs such as Xcode and/or Android Studio
Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Strong English communication skills (safety/operations-related)
Ability to occasionally travel to well-sites, trade shows, and customer offices
Use collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with code assistance tools (e.g., Cursor, Gemini)
Oil & gas industry knowledge/experience
Web development experience using Angular
