About the role

Role Overview

As a Mobile Engineer (Kotlin/Android), you’ll help train and improve AI systems by completing programming tasks with a strong emphasis on Android development. Work is available through DataAnnotation’s platform with fully remote flexibility and the ability to choose which projects you take.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, focused on Android.
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and provide detailed explanations.
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
Preferred: experience with Kotlin.
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Coder / Programmer.

Compensation & Work Details

Paid hourly for projects, up to $60 USD/hour.
Payment via PayPal.
Flexible scheduling; some contributors may do this alongside other roles, while others focus primarily on platform work.

Location / Eligibility

Work is available only to people located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
