About the role
Role Overview
Build, optimize, and maintain highly-responsive native iOS or Android applications used by millions of active users. You’ll ship high-performance UI, improve local data storage, and ensure reliable API integration across varied network conditions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)
- Optimize app performance (memory, network usage) to support smooth 60fps rendering and fast startup
- Collaborate with backend teams to define and integrate REST APIs and GraphQL schemas for efficient data sync
- Build and maintain automated testing suites: unit, integration, and UI automation tests
- Participate in design reviews, write technical specs, and perform thorough code reviews to uphold architecture standards
- Monitor production stability (crash rates, user feedback) and quickly diagnose/runtime-fix anomalies
Requirements
- 3–6 years professional software engineering experience in native mobile (iOS or Android)
- Deep expertise in either:
- iOS: Swift/SwiftUI, platform SDKs
- Android: Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, platform SDKs
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture, and reactive programming
- Experience with local persistence technologies such as CoreData, Room, SQLite, or Realm, plus offline-first synchronization patterns
- Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile distribution, including tools like fastlane, App Center, TestFlight, or Google Play Console

- Contributions to open-source mobile libraries
