Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

Role overview

You will architect, build, and maintain high-performance native iOS and Android applications. Working in a cross-functional product squad, you’ll translate complex UX requirements into responsive mobile interfaces, with an emphasis on reliability and excellent offline performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy native mobile features using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android)
• Optimize performance (memory usage, rendering, network latency, and battery consumption)
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections
• Build and maintain an offline-first local persistence layer and local data synchronization
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement pixel-perfect UI following iOS HIG and Material Design
• Set up and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise) for automated testing, signing, and store deployments
• Write clean, modular, well-tested code using architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or VIPER

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with strong native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin)
• Deep knowledge of native mobile SDKs, app lifecycles, memory management, and concurrency
• Experience with local storage/mobile databases such as SQLite, Core Data, Realm, or Room
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as XCTest and/or Espresso and a commitment to unit/UI tests
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience

• Cross-platform experience (React Native or Flutter)
• Experience building offline-first architectures
• Contributions to open-source mobile libraries
