About the role

Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

Own end-to-end development of user-facing mobile applications across iOS and Android, delivering polished and accessible experiences for a high-usage consumer audience.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications using Swift, Kotlin, and React Native
Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn wireframes/user stories into responsive mobile UI
Integrate APIs (REST, GraphQL, and real-time via websockets) and optimize payload, caching, and offline behavior
Build automated testing suites: unit, integration, and UI tests (XCTest, Espresso, Jest)
Monitor performance, crash reports, and network latency using tools like Datadog, Firebase, and Sentry
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help evolve mobile best practices and design systems

Requirements

3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with a primary focus on mobile (iOS/Android)
Deep expertise in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, including memory management and concurrency
Demonstrated experience publishing and maintaining production-grade apps on Apple App Store and Google Play
Strong understanding of mobile design patterns, offline-first architectures, and local storage (CoreData, Room, or Realm)
BS/MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)

Bonus

Experience with React Native or Flutter
Familiarity with mobile CI/CD (e.g., Bitrise or GitHub Actions)
