Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

Role Overview

Own the end-to-end development of native mobile applications across iOS and Android, delivering performant, reliable, and delightful experiences for millions of active users.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and ship native mobile apps:
  • iOS using Swift and SwiftUI
  • Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Design robust client-side architectures with:
  • Modularity and testability
  • Offline-first capabilities and offline data synchronization
  • Efficient network utilization
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI and fluid animations.
• Profile and optimize performance (memory usage, frame drops, and battery consumption).
• Build and maintain unit, integration, and UI testing suites to ensure high code coverage and prevent regressions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help establish mobile engineering best practices and standards.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with primary focus on native iOS or Android.
• Deep expertise in:
  • Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
• Strong understanding of modern asynchronous programming paradigms.
• Mobile architectural knowledge: MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD, automated app store deployment, and performance monitoring tools such as Firebase, Datadog, or Sentry.
• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native or Flutter)
• Contributions to open-source mobile libraries
• Familiarity with low-level platform APIs
