Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

Design, build, and maintain the core mobile experience across both iOS and Android, delivering highly responsive, intuitive user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) or modern cross-platform frameworks like Flutter.
• Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and battery consumption to achieve a smooth 60fps user experience.
• Build offline-first synchronization with local storage (e.g., SQLite, Room, CoreData) and handle complex client-side state.
• Integrate with backend services using REST and WebSocket.
• Use native hardware capabilities and platform APIs such as:
  • location services
  • push notifications
  • secure hardware enclaves
• Maintain automated test pipelines (unit, integration, and UI automation) to enable regression-free releases to the App Store and Google Play.
• Participate in technical architecture, API contract design, and thorough peer code reviews.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional mobile engineering experience.
• Proven experience shipping production-grade apps to the App Store and/or Google Play.
• Deep mastery of native mobile stacks:
  • iOS: Swift/SwiftUI
  • Android: Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns: MVVM, VIPER, or MVI.
• Reactive programming knowledge.
• Experience optimizing network latency, local caching, and asynchronous multi-threaded programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).

Bonus

• Cross-platform experience (Flutter/React Native).
• CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise).
• Mobile analytics/monitoring tools (e.g., Crashlytics, Datadog).
