Mobile Engineer

Role Overview

COCC is hiring a Mobile Software Engineer to build and maintain native iOS and Android applications for critical banking experiences. You’ll help shape product direction and engineering practices, with a strong focus on automation, efficiency, and secure mobile delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android and iOS applications
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, architects, and engineers to deliver features and enhancements
• Work within a complex mobile ecosystem (internal and vendor-supported components) to support modernization and long-term maintainability
• Improve development efficiency via automation, tooling, CI/CD enhancements, and streamlined processes
• Troubleshoot production issues, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions for the mobile platform
• Stay current with mobile trends, frameworks, and best practices

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years delivering native mobile apps for Android and/or iOS in production environments
• Strong proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java and Swift and/or Objective-C (including building, testing, and supporting customer-facing apps)
• Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and modern software delivery methodologies
• Mindset focused on automation and operational efficiency
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams

Nice-to-Haves / Additional Signals

• Experience with mobile security practices (DevSecOps/secure delivery)

Compensation & Work Setup

• Remote role
• Salary range: $108,000–$162,000 annually
