About the role

Role Overview

Join Bitfinex as a Mobile Developer to build and evolve its mobile applications. You’ll contribute to new features, scalability, data visualization, and the creation of engaging, real-time trading experiences—while working in a flexible full-remote environment.

Key Missions

Develop new mobile features for Bitfinex mobile applications using Agile practices.
Ensure the mobile app remains fast, responsive, and real-time as the platform scales and user base grows.
Contribute to data visualization and build responsive mobile applications and trading tools.

Requirements

Experience with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
Strong experience with React, React Native (primarily Expo), and Redux, including core concepts.
Familiarity with high-availability concepts.
Experience with modern front-end build pipelines/tools.
Highly proficient in JavaScript (ES6+).

Nice to Have

Knowledge of native development: Swift/Kotlin.
Familiarity with native build tools: Xcode and Android Studio.
Interest in modernizing/optimizing existing mobile or web applications.
