Mobile Application Developer

Role overview

Zyxware Technologies is hiring a Mid-Level Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. The role is remote (full-time) and focuses on delivering high-quality mobile solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams and integrating backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Develop and maintain app features using native and/or cross-platform frameworks.
• Build and optimize apps using Swift, Kotlin, Java, and/or Flutter/React Native.
• Work with solution architects to define and maintain app architecture and design patterns.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
• Perform code reviews and testing; implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.
• Implement mobile security best practices, data encryption, and comply with Apple App Store / Google Play guidelines.
• Enable analytics and monitoring using tools such as Firebase and Mixpanel.
• Apply security/compliance standards such as OWASP Mobile, GDPR/CCPA, and SOC 2.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of mobile application development experience for Android and iOS.
• Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin/Java.
• Experience with mobile architecture patterns: MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with both iOS and Android.
• Cloud integration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• 2–3 years integrating backend APIs and managing app data persistence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.

• Cross-platform experience: Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin.
• Mobile UI/UX and accessibility best practices.
• Mobile CI/CD exposure: Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise.
• Analytics/crash/monitoring tools: Firebase/Crashlytics/AppCenter.
• Mobile testing frameworks: XCTest, Espresso, Jest.
• Mobile security practices: biometric authentication, secure storage, encryption.
• Push notifications, deep linking, in-app messaging.
• App Store Optimization (ASO) and app release management.
