About the role

Role Overview

TechPerm Incorporated is hiring a Mobile Application Developer to build native iOS, native Android, and cross-platform mobile applications. The position requires strong, recent experience with React Native and hands-on development across modern and legacy enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Develop native iOS apps using Swift/SwiftUI.
Develop native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Build cross-platform apps using React Native and Flutter.
Integrate mobile apps with legacy COBOL/Java backend systems via REST and GraphQL.
Collaborate with backend teams to design API gateways and modernize access to legacy services.
Implement UI/UX designs to deliver consistent, responsive experiences across platforms.
Optimize performance using Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, and strong memory-management practices.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests (e.g., XCTest, Jest, Flutter Test).
Configure CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise).
Ensure secure communication (e.g., OAuth), encryption, and compliance with GDPR and HIPAA.

Requirements

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Experience requirement based on education:
- Master’s + 10 years, or
- Bachelor’s + 12 years, or
- 18 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Ability to integrate mobile apps with legacy enterprise systems.
Proficiency with version control, CI/CD, debugging tools, and cloud-based workflows.
Cross-platform development and UI/UX implementation experience.

Required Technical Skills (Must Have)

Experience with at least two of the following:

Swift
Kotlin
Flutter
React Native

Desired Skills

iOS ecosystem: Swift/SwiftUI, Xcode, CocoaPods, UIKit, CoreData, App Store deployment.
Android ecosystem: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, Gradle, Firebase.
Flutter/Dart: Provider/Riverpod for state management.
React Native: Redux and React Navigation.
Vue 3: Vuex and Vue Router.
Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional enterprise teams.
