Mobile Application Developer

Role Overview

You will develop and improve the native Android experience for BJAK's AI Finance Agent, a core component of the organization’s financial technology offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy native Android features using Kotlin, ensuring high quality and performance.
• Build intuitive mobile user flows for insurance, payments, claims, and renewals.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend REST APIs securely and ensure stability across devices and scenarios.
• Optimize performance (reduce crashes, improve load times, responsiveness, and memory usage).
• Use analytics, user feedback, and production data to identify issues and ship improvements.
• Develop AI-assisted mobile features when they genuinely improve the user journey.
• Maintain code quality via testing, debugging, and mobile best practices.
• Stay current with Android trends and incorporate innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development with Kotlin.
• Proficiency with Android SDK, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Strong knowledge of modern Android architecture and best practices.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and troubleshooting production issues.
• Knowledge of mobile UX principles, usability, and edge-case handling.
• Experience with performance optimization, crash analytics, and memory management.
• Version control experience (e.g., GitHub) and a portfolio of shipped apps.
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
