Mobile Application Developer (Android)

Role Overview

As a Mobile Application Developer (Android) on DataAnnotation’s coding team, you’ll contribute to developing and improving AI systems by building, solving, and evaluating coding tasks with an emphasis on Android development.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, focusing on Android development
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
• Provide feedback that helps shape future AI model iterations

Requirements

• Native or bilingual English fluency
• Strong writing and grammar skills
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
• Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Kotlin experience
• Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Work Model & Logistics

• Fully remote with a flexible schedule (choose projects and timing)
• Paid hourly, up to $60 USD/hour; higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance
• Payment via PayPal; work is accessed through assessments and the platform
