About the role

Role overview

As a Mobile Application Developer (Android) on DataAnnotation’s coding team, you’ll help advance AI development by designing and solving programming tasks with a focus on Android. Work is available via the platform after completing a short assessment.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, emphasizing Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and provide detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Preferred: previous experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer

Work model & compensation

Fully remote (U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
Flexible schedule (choose projects and timing)
Paid hourly: up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects possible with strong performance)
