Role overview

Join DataAnnotation’s coding community as a Mobile Application Developer (Android). You’ll help build and evaluate code used to train AI systems, with a strong emphasis on Android development. Work is fully remote with a flexible schedule based on the projects you choose.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, emphasizing Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: previous experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer (or similar)

Preferred / Nice to have

Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Logistics & pay

Fully remote: work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
Flexible schedule: choose which projects and when you work
Paid work available via the platform after a short assessment
Hourly pay up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects for strong performance)
Payment processed via PayPal
