About the role

Role overview

Mobile Application Developer (Android) working with DataAnnotation’s coding team to develop and evaluate code used to train AI systems. The work is fully remote with flexible scheduling and projects paid hourly.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape future AI model improvements

Requirements

Native or bilingual English fluency
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer

Nice to have

Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Work style & compensation

Fully remote for people in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
Flexible schedule (choose projects and when you work)
Paid hourly, up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance)
